Swimming pool, sauna, gym
Three Gates Farm has a large indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. The pool is heated to 30 degrees all year round (no toe test needed!). It is 33ft by 16ft and has a shallow end and 7ft deep end. The pool building also houses a small gym, with treadmill, exercise bike and cross trainer, as well as a changing room, shower and toilet. There are a range of toys and inflatables available for use in the pool. Swimming lessons can be arranged for all ages, including babies with a qualified and experienced teacher.
Please remember to bring towels for swimming and sauna!

Play area, games and toys
Children can have fun in the play area, with its swings, slide, trapeze and seesaw and on the 12 ft trampoline. On the pool terrace is a permanent table tennis table and we also have a table football and pool table. There is a large grassy area set aside for outdoor games, including football, badminton/volleyball, Frisbee and Swing ball. We also have a selection of indoor games and puzzles for you to borrow.

DVD library and books
You are welcome to borrow a DVD or video from our library or a book from the selection provided in the cottages.

Phones and broadband
We have telephone lines in Nuthatch and The Long Barn. Mobile phone signal is patchy in this area! Wireless Internet access is available free of charge in all cottages. Please note that our rural location means that we have a slow internet connection and there is a limited capacity for downloading large data files.

Wood burners
There are wood burners in The Smithy, Nuthatch and The Granary. We provide a complimentary first basket of logs. We can refill your basket at a cost of £5.00.

Laundry
There is a laundry room on site with washing machine and tumble dryer (remember to bring detergent). We encourage use of the washing line and airers when it’s sunny!

Babysitting, cots, highchairs, stair gates
We can recommend local babysitters with extensive experience.
Cots and highchairs are available at no extra charge (please bring your own bedding for the cot).
Stair gates are fitted in the Granary, the only cottage with stairs!

BBQ
You are welcome to borrow a BBQ for your al fresco dining! Remember to bring charcoal and firelighters.

Dog sitting
If you are planning an outing without your dog, we can recommend an experienced dogsitter. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottages.

Grocery shopping
Our nearest large supermarkets are in Tiverton (6 miles away) - Tesco and Morrisons. There is a good range of local shops in Bampton, only 3 miles away.
If you’d like to have your groceries delivered, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda all deliver to Three Gates Farm. Please ensure your groceries arrive after you!

We have a car park at Three Gates Farm.
