Three Gates is situated in the heart of Devon within easy reach of the north and south coasts and both Dartmoor and Exmoor. Although situated deep in the Devonshire countryside Three Gates is only 15 minutes drive from the M5 motorway. The nearest town is Bampton (3 miles) which has a butchers, bakers, grocers, convenience stores and a good chip shop. It also has a number of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Directions:
On leaving the M5 Motorway at J27, take the A361 towards Tiverton. After approximately 6.5 miles take the Gornhay exit signposted Tiverton and Bickleigh. Turn left at the top of the slip road and at the next roundabout (MacDonalds) turn right. Stay on this road for just under a mile and after passing a row of shops (including Tesco Express) turn right signposted Chettiscombe and Chevithorne. Immediately after crossing over the dual carriageway turn right, again signposted Chettiscombe and Chevithorne. Stay on this road for 3.5 miles until you reach a cross roads (Van Post Cross). Go right here following the sign to Huntsham. You will pass the weather 'Golf Ball' on your right hand side. After 1 mile go around a sweeping left hand bend and Three Gates is 300 yards on the right hand side.
